Emin Group Board of Directors Establishes a 30-Thousand Tree Memorial Forest in Memory of Emin Ustun in Hatay!

A significant support came from the members of Emin Group Board of Directors, to the campaign of sampling donation appreciated all over Turkey, following the forest fires in Hatay. Taking action to regreen the forest lands in the aftermath of the forest fire that caused a great deal of damage, the members of Emin Group Board of Directors and Eminevim will establish a memorial forest in the city in memory of A. Emin Ustun by donating 30 thousand saplings to Hatay on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its foundation.

The damages caused by the fire disaster in Hatay, which upset deeply Turkey, are healed collectively. Once the fire that caused severe damage was taken under control, the works of tree donation started. Yet another support for the sampling donations from all over the country came from Emin Group Board of Directors and Eminevim. In this context, Emin Group Board of Directors will give support with the donation of 30 thousand saplings, towards the efforts initiated to re-green the 300 hectares of forestland that has been destroyed. With the donation of 30 thousand saplings on the 30th anniversary of its foundation, a memorial forest will be created in memory of A. Emin Ustun, the founder of the company and a late businessman, in an effort to contribute to the recovery of the green woods of Hatay. The saplings donated to protect the soil, natural life and the future will also contribute to the restoration of the forest area damaged by the fire. Stating that the disaster has shaken everyone deeply, Suheyla Ustun, Chairperson of Emin Group noted that they coordinated the works of sapling donation in no time in order to regreen the land after the fire and as Eminevim, they would be happy to have contributed to the restoration of Hatay. Ms. Ustun continued as follows: “We are extremely mournful for the fire disaster that took place in Hatay which is one of our ancient cities with its history and culture. As the board of directors of our company, we took quick action for in an attempt to support the campaign in the protection of our nature by donating 30 thousand saplings in the 30th anniversary of our foundation. On this occasion, we decided to choose the city of Hatay, to establish the memorial forest which we planned to create in memory of A. Emin Ustun, the founder of our company, a late businessman. It will be meaningful for our company to have a memorial forest in the name of A. Emin Ustun, thanks to the donation of 30 thousand saplings. Natural disasters such as fire, flood or earthquake are all tough times. As the Turkish nation, we are a community managing to get over such challenges by getting stronger and stronger in a unity and solidarity, and thus it is our duty to protect our heavenly homeland. We are proud to take responsibility in such a task.”
