MEANINGFUL SUPPORT

The signing ceremony of the "1000 Water Wells for 1000 Martyrs" project organized by the Deniz Feneri Association with the support of the Ministry of Interior was held. At the ceremony where Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu made the opening speech, Emin Group Chairman of the Board of Directors and philanthropic businessperson A. Sefa Üstün made a donation of 62 water wells to be opened in Africa following the call of Minister Soylu.

The project named "1000 Water Wells for 1000 Martyrs" by the Deniz Feneri Association was launched with the support of Süleyman Soylu, the Minister of Interior, in order to keep alive the cherished memories and names of our martyrs who despised their lives for the sake of their homeland. In addition to Minister Soylu, Deputy Minister of Interior Mehmet Ersoy, Governor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya, Mayor of Zeytinburnu Ömer Arısoy, Chief Advisor to the President İsrafil Kışla and many important names participated in the signing ceremony. Emin Group Chairman of the Board of Directors A. Sefa Üstün and members of the board of directors who attended the ceremony as invited did not remain indifferent to Minister Soylu's call for water well support. The benevolent businessman A. Sefa Üstün, who bought the 1961 model antique automobile that was put up for auction for donation in return for donating 33 water wells in order to contribute to the project, supported the survival of the names of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our country in different countries of Africa with water wells, while supporting the thirst of people thousands of kilometers away. He expressed his happiness to be instrumental in his removal. After the auction, Üstün donated an additional 29 water wells by following the Minister Soylu's call for 500 water wells in the first day, and donated 62 water wells in total on behalf of the Emin Group.

A short meeting was held between Emin Group Chairman of the Board of Directors A. Sefa Üstün and Minister Soylu at the ceremony where Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu also donated water wells on behalf of his person and his family. During the meeting, which was held with a number of consultations, Üstün gave information to the Minister of Interior Soylu about the aid activities carried out by Emin Group, Eminevim and HAGEV (the late Haci Habibullah Geredevi Foundation) for African countries. A. About Sefa ÜSTÜN
